Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by ASEC Electrical (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers (“you”, “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Quotes and Estimates
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing is based on information provided and may vary if site conditions change. Acceptance of a quote, payment of a deposit, or instruction to proceed constitutes agreement to these Terms.

2. Services
We will perform all electrical, air-conditioning, maintenance and servicing services with due care and skill, in accordance with Australian laws, standards, and licensing requirements. Customers must provide safe and reasonable site access for all work.

3. Payment
Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Deposits may be required prior to commencement. Late payments may incur interest or collection fees.

4. Consumer Guarantees
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a remedy if services fail to meet these guarantees. For business customers, liability may be limited to re-performance or refund, as permitted by law.

5. Warranties
Workmanship is warranted for 12 months from completion, excluding faults arising from misuse, external damage, or unauthorised alterations.

6. Variations and Delays
Any additional work requested or required due to unforeseen conditions will be treated as a variation. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, supply shortages, or events beyond our control.

7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ASEC Electrical is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability is limited to the re-performance of services or a refund of the service fee, at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property
All materials, documents, images, or designs created by ASEC Electrical remain our intellectual property under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.

9. Termination
Either party may terminate a contract by written notice. You must pay for work completed and materials purchased up to the termination date.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Queensland.
